Billy leads Transporting New Zealand’s government relations and advocacy work, with a focus on freight efficiency, infrastructure investment, and workforce development. He’s helped shape key projects including the National Road Freight survey and the industry’s response to road revenue reform.

Before joining Transporting New Zealand, Billy worked as a senior adviser at Police National Headquarters and as a solicitor in Simpson Grierson’s public law team.
