Sector Group Working Session

The Sector Group Working Session brings together TNZ’s Sector Group Chairs and staff to share the issues, priorities and work being progressed across each Sector Group.

It provides an opportunity for the Chairs to identify issues that cut across multiple sectors, share different perspectives, learn from the work of other Sector Groups and identify areas where a coordinated approach may be needed.

This helps ensure TNZ’s priorities, work programme and advocacy are informed by the real-world experience of the different sectors that make up the road freight industry.

Members can help inform these discussions by raising issues, ideas and concerns with their Sector Chair or Membership Manager.

Sector Group Summit: Have your say

The 2026 Sector Group Summit takes the conversation wider.

The issues, priorities and work identified through the Sector Groups will be brought to the Summit for discussion with the wider industry.

The Summit is open to everyone working in or connected with the road freight sector, including non-members, and provides an opportunity to hear what the Sector Groups have been working on, provide feedback, raise additional issues and share different perspectives.

The feedback gathered at the Summit will help inform the priorities and actions taken forward by the Sector Groups and Transporting New Zealand.
