Head of Policy & Advocacy

James is a senior policy professional with more than 20 years’ experience in policy, research and government relations. He joins us from the Ministry of Transport, having worked across a range of government agencies throughout his career.

James has extensive experience developing policy and legislation across all stages of the policy life cycle, from research and analysis through to implementation and review. He has worked across a broad range of policy areas and brings a strong understanding of government decision-making processes, stakeholder engagement and regulatory reform.

Outside of work, James is an enthusiastic cyclist and motorcyclist, a budding gardener, and enjoys football and rugby league.
