Membership Manager for Upper North Island

Darryn joined Ia Ara Aotearoa Transporting New Zealand as Membership Manager for the Upper North Island in August 2026. Based in Tauranga, he works closely with members across the region and supports the logging sector.

With more than 20 years’ experience in relationship management, business development and customer success, Darryn has built strong connections across New Zealand’s transport industry through roles with EROAD and Teletrac Navman & Navman Wireless.

Darryn brings more than 20 years of commercial and strategic relationship management experience, much of it within the transport and technology sectors. His recent experience includes senior roles with EROAD, where he worked closely with fleet and transport customers, as well as earlier roles with Teletrac Navman & Navman Wireless.

He also has strong personal ties to the road transport industry. His father was an owner-driver in Auckland, and Darryn worked for Mainstream and Roadfreighters earlier in his career.
