NZ Post Contractor Membership Application
This application form is available only to contractors of NZ Post Limited.
NZ Post Limited is a member of Ia Ara Aotearoa Transporting New Zealand Incorporated (Transporting New Zealand or TNZ). As a contractor to NZ Post, you are eligible to access TNZ membership at a discounted contractor rate under a specific membership arrangement between Transporting New Zealand and NZ Post.
By submitting this application, you confirm that all information supplied is true and complete. Membership is granted at the sole discretion of Transporting New Zealand, in accordance with its Constitution, Rules, and Terms and Conditions, and becomes effective upon acceptance of the application and payment of the applicable membership fee. A Transporting New Zealand membership manager will be in touch following submission to confirm eligibility and complete the process.
Membership Benefits
Transporting New Zealand membership provides practical support and real value for your business, including:

- advocacy and representation at local, regional, and national levels on issues affecting the transport industry
Annual Subscription and Fees
Membership fees are set annually by the TNZ Board. Membership runs from 1 July to 30 June and renews automatically each year unless written notice of resignation is provided before the start of the next membership period.
For the current membership year, the NZ Post contractor membership fee is $622.01 (including GST).
Members joining part way through the year will have their fee adjusted to reflect a fair and appropriate charge for the remainder of the membership period.
NZ Post Contractor Fee Arrangement
The discounted membership fee available through this application applies only while:
- NZ Post Limited remains a member of Transporting New Zealand, and
- the Member remains an active contractor to NZ Post Limited.
If either condition ceases to apply, the Member will no longer be eligible for the discounted rate. In that case, the membership fee will revert to the standard applicable membership fee as determined by the TNZ Board, effective from the next invoicing period or membership year, unless otherwise determined by Transporting New Zealand.
Applying for a fuel account
If you do not already have a business account with a fuel provider, please follow the steps below to apply for an account with your preferred provider.

Already Have a Fuel Account?
If you’d like to link your existing fuel account to the RDCA/TNZ fuel discount offer, please provide your account number using the form below.
Once your details are submitted, you will receive an email directly from your fuel provider asking you to confirm authorisation. It is essential that you reply to this email — no changes will be made until your authorisation is received.
Important – Reference Numbers
When you apply for a new fuel account with Z Business, BP, or Mobil using the instructions above, you’ll receive a confirmation email from the fuel provider. This email will include your application reference number (or account number once set up).
Please provide this reference number &/or your account number in the form below.
This allows Transporting New Zealand, in partnership with RDCA, to:
