Clay Target Shooting – Member’s Event with James Meager
Transporting New Zealand members recently gathered for a bit of friendly competition at the Ashburton Clay Target Club with Associate Minister of Transport & Minister for Hunting and Fishing, James Meager MP.
A standout performance came from Karen Opie of Smiths Loos 2018 Ltd, a first-time shotgun shooter who impressed the field by outgunning her partner. Blair Cochrane of Delta Stock Crates was the ultimate winner!
Afterwards the group sat down at Hotel Ashburton where the Minister spoke about the Government’s current direction with transport, and members gave their thoughts.
All in all, the day was a great mix of networking and open dialogue to bolster the connection between the transport sector and policymakers.
