Terms and Conditions(Required) 1. Membership and Application
By submitting this application, the applicant confirms that all information supplied is true and complete. Membership is granted on acceptance of this application by Transporting New Zealand (TNZ) or delegated TNZ staff, in accordance with clauses 18 and 19 of the Constitution and upon payment of the applicable membership fee.
TNZ may accept or decline an application at its sole discretion. Successful applicants become Members upon acceptance and are bound by the Constitution, Rules, and these Terms and Conditions.
2. Annual Subscription and Fees
The annual subscription and any other membership fees are set each year by the TNZ Board. Membership runs from 1 July to 30 June and renews automatically each year unless written notice of resignation is provided before the start of the next membership period.
Members joining during the year will have their fee adjusted to reflect a fair and appropriate charge for the remainder of the membership period.
Payments may be made by bank transfer, credit card, or direct debit. All invoices are payable within 14 days unless a payment plan or direct debit arrangement is in place.
New Zealand Post Contractor Membership Fees
This application form is available only to contractors of New Zealand Post. Membership fees for NZ Post contractors are set in accordance with a specific membership arrangement agreed between Transporting New Zealand and New Zealand Post.
This fee arrangement applies only while both of the following conditions continue to apply:
- New Zealand Post remains a member of Transporting New Zealand; and
- the Member remains an active contractor to New Zealand Post.
If either condition ceases to apply, the Member will no longer be eligible for the discounted contractor rate and their membership fee will revert to the standard applicable membership fee as determined by the TNZ Board, effective from the next invoicing period or membership year.
