Key Dates

Lane closures:

On the following nights the bridge will be down to one lane and under stop/go traffic management.

• Monday 2nd August 9:00pm – Tuesday 3rd August 5:00am.
• Sunday 8th August 9:00pm – Monday 9th August 5:00am.
• Monday 9th August 9:00pm – Tuesday 10th August 5:00am.

Full Bridge closures:

On the following nights the bridge will be closed to all traffic:
• Sunday 15 th August 9:00pm – Monday 16th August 5:00am.

Specific Detail for Permit Holders

50MAX/HPMV
50MAX/HPMV permit holders can continue to use the bridge during the repair work except for when
the bridge is closed to all traffic (refer to Key Dates above).

Over-dimension
Over-dimension vehicles that are within General Access mass limits can continue to use the bridge during the repair work except for:
– when the bridge is down to one lane and the vehicle cannot fit within its own lane(refer to Key Dates above). (Note bridge repair equipment will be parked in the closed lane)
– when the closed to all traffic (refer to Key Dates above).

Over-dimension vehicles that exceed General Access mass limits must also comply with the Overweight requirements outlined below.

Overweight
Overweight vehicles that have been granted a permit addendum for Own Lane travel can continue to use the bridge during the repair work except for when the bridge is closed to all traffic (refer to Key Dates above).

Crawl Central travel for heavier overweight vehicles will not be allowable from the 5th of August until bridge repair works are complete (currently expected to be the 24th of September).
