Join us for the 2025 North Island Road Freight Seminar, taking place on Saturday 11 October 2025 at the Napier War Memorial Centre.

This must-attend event will bring together up to 240 industry leaders, freight operators, and key stakeholders for a day of insightful discussions, valuable networking, and industry updates – all capped off with the prestigious Industry Awards Dinner.

Bringing a Partner?

All partners who wish to attend any networking events, the partners activity or the Awards Dinner must also be registered.

For partners not attending the seminar, we’ll be hosting a day of activities and a relaxed lunch. The programme will be shaped around those who register, making sure it’s a memorable experience.

Think along the lines of boutique local experiences, opportunities to explore Napier’s unique Art Deco character, and the chance to enjoy the region’s food and wine culture. Whether it’s discovering hidden gems, soaking up the atmosphere of the city, or simply connecting over a good meal, the day will be tailored to offer something special for everyone.

Participation will be at own cost.

Seminar registration dates

Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Once full, a waitlist will be available. Registrations close at 11:59pm on 5 October 2025.

Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility for Complimentary Registrations

Ia Ara Aotearoa Transporting New Zealand Members* are entitled to complimentary registrations based on their membership fleet size:

  • All members: 2 registrations
  • National Associates: 4 registrations
  • Operators with 6 to 20 trucks: 4 registrations
  • Operators with 21 to 30 trucks: 6 registrations
  • Operators with more than 31 trucks: 8 registrations

Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Once full, a waitlist will be available. Registrations close at 11:59pm on 5 October 2025.

* Registrations are complimentary for members whose membership fees are paid for the year ending 30 June 2026. For more information, email admin@transporting.nz.

2. Registration Costs

  • Additional registrations: $80 + GST per person
  • Non-members: $249 + GST per person
  • Partners activity and lunch is at own cost

An invoice will be issued if your registration does not qualify for a complimentary registration.

3. Cancellations & No-Shows

The 2025 seminar is expected to sell out. With high demand for limited spaces, if you cannot attend, please notify us as soon as possible so others can participate.

  • Registrations can be transferred to another person if you are unable to attend.
  • If you do not attend without a valid reason and/or prior notification, you will be charged a no-show fee of $50 + GST.
  • Cancellations received by 3 October 2025 will be refunded. No refunds will be provided after this date.

4. Permission for Photography & Media Use

By attending the seminar, you grant Ia Ara Aotearoa Transporting New Zealand permission to capture photographs and videos during the event. These images and recordings may be used for promotional, marketing, and reporting purposes in print, digital, and social media formats. 

5. Sharing of Registration Information

By registering for the seminar, you acknowledge and consent to Ia Ara Aotearoa Transporting New Zealand sharing your name, organisation, and contact details with event sponsors. Sponsors may use this information for networking, promotional, or marketing purposes related to their products and services. If you do not wish for your details to be shared, please contact our event team before the event.

6. Agreement to Terms & Conditions

By registering for the seminar, all attendees agree to these terms and conditions. Failure to comply with these terms may result in cancellation of registration and/or additional fees as outlined above.
