Subscription Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to subscription based products and services offered by Ia Ara Aotearoa Transporting New Zealand Incorporated (Transporting New Zealand), including fuel savings subscriptions, bundle subscriptions, partner programmes, and the Transporting New Zealand Cost Index.
1. Subscription term
Subscriptions are generally valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, unless otherwise specified for a particular product.
Transporting New Zealand may, at its discretion, extend a subscription period where required for operational or administrative purposes.
Certain products may operate on a defined reporting period. For example, the Transporting New Zealand Cost Index operates on a financial year basis from 1 July to 30 June.
2. Payment and access
Access to subscription services, reports, portal information, and partner programme details is only provided once payment has been received.
Subscriptions must remain current and fully paid to maintain access. If a subscription expires or remains unpaid, Transporting New Zealand reserves the right to suspend or remove access until payment has been received.
3. Renewals and cancellations
Subscriptions expire at the end of the subscription period unless renewed.
Transporting New Zealand may issue a renewal invoice prior to or after the subscription expiry date. The timing of invoicing does not extend the subscription period.
Access to subscription services will cease on the subscription expiry date unless the renewal invoice is paid.
Subscribers may advise Transporting New Zealand prior to payment if they do not wish to renew, in which case the renewal invoice will be cancelled.
4. Refunds
Subscription fees are non refundable once access to the subscription service has been provided, except where required by law.
5. Portal access and information
Subscriptions may provide access to fuel pricing information, reports, industry data, or other resources through the Transporting New Zealand Members Portal or other approved platforms.
Subscribers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their portal login details. Access to subscription information must not be shared outside the subscribing organisation.
Subscription reports, pricing information, and associated materials must not be redistributed, reproduced, or published without permission from Transporting New Zealand.
6. Partner programmes
Some subscriptions may include access to partner programmes arranged by Transporting New Zealand, including but not limited to fuel schemes, n3 business discounts, and the Bridgestone tyre programme.
These programmes are provided under the terms and conditions of the relevant supplier. Transporting New Zealand facilitates access to these programmes but does not control supplier pricing, discount structures, product availability, or service delivery.
Transporting New Zealand does not guarantee specific savings, discount levels, or pricing outcomes from partner programmes.
7. n3 membership
As part of certain bundle packages, the subscriber organisation may be entitled to an n3 business discount account, provided under the n3 Membership Agreement.
Transporting New Zealand pays the n3 membership fee on behalf of the subscriber for the duration of the bundle subscription.
To receive n3 benefits, subscribers acknowledge and agree that:
• Their organisation will be registered with n3
• They will comply with the n3 Membership Agreement
• They accept the n3 Privacy Policy
• n3 may contact them regarding trade cards, account setup, and available benefits
Access to n3 benefits is contingent on maintaining a current Transporting New Zealand bundle subscription.
Transporting New Zealand facilitates access to the n3 programme but does not control n3’s discount structure, supplier offers, or service delivery.
8. Transporting New Zealand Cost Index
The Transporting New Zealand Cost Index subscription operates on a financial year basis from 1 July to 30 June.
Subscriptions provide access to the reports and updates released during that financial year. If purchased part way through the year, access applies for the remainder of that financial year unless otherwise specified.
9. Appropriate use
Subscriptions and associated benefits must be used for the legitimate business purposes of the subscribing organisation.
Transporting New Zealand reserves the right to suspend or remove access where subscription services or partner programmes are misused.
Transporting New Zealand also reserves the right to remove access to subscription services where these terms are breached.
10. Non transferability
Subscriptions are issued to the purchasing organisation.
Subscriptions may not be transferred to another organisation without the approval of Transporting New Zealand, which may be granted at Transporting New Zealand’s discretion.
11. Subscription does not constitute membership
Purchasing a subscription does not constitute membership of Transporting New Zealand.
Subscribers do not receive the rights, governance participation, or member benefits associated with Transporting New Zealand membership unless they separately apply for and are accepted as members under the organisation’s constitution.
12. Changes to services
Transporting New Zealand may update subscription services, participating partners, or programme structures from time to time, including where supplier arrangements change.
Where possible, subscribers will be informed of any significant changes.
13. Pricing
All subscription prices are exclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.
