Neil has had management roles with New Zealand Express, Freightways and the Newman’s Group which was sold to Transpac in 1987. When it went into receivership, Neil with others bought the freight division and renamed it TNL Freight. As managing director from 1989 to 2007, he built the company into a customised road transport, contract warehousing and international freight and customs operation.
Active in the Invercargill RTANZ branch in the 1970s, Neil was chair in 1976. He became vice-president of RTANZ Region 4 in 2008.
Neil is the immediate past chair of the Transporting New Zealand (then RTF) board.
Mark followed his father and grandfather into the road freight transport industry. Hailing from the deep south, with family from Stewart Island, Mark is an experienced crane operator and now is manager of what was started as a family firm, Purdue Bros Limited.
Deborah is managing director, of Debz Transport. She is a director of Road Transport Association Region 3, and is a previous president of that association.
Warwick has been in the road freight transport industry since he left school. He completed an Automotive Diesel Apprenticeship and then purchased his first logging truck.
He has spent 40 years in the industry and in that time has built a large logging fleet across the central North Island and East Coast regions.
He first joined the Rotorua Licenced Carriers Association which later amalgamated into Road Transport Association Region 2.
He is a founding member of the Log Transport Safety Council and has been chair for more than 20 years.
Sean joined the industry as a driver more than 30 years ago and has since been an owner driver and held various management positions in the transport, tourism and petroleum industries.
Sean has been active in the Road Transport Association Region 4 Christchurch branch since 2008, as well as on the Region 4 executive.
