As you may be aware, despite there being no cases of Covid-19 in Wellington that are known, Wellington will go to Alert Level 2 from 6pm today, 23 June until at least 11.59 pm on Sunday, 27 June. The rest of the nation remains at Alert Level 1.

The Road Transport Forum website Covid-19 page will be updated from here on in, as per the previous times there have been alert level changes. That information can be found here: https://www.rtf.nz/covid-19/

The Covid Alert Level 2 restriction includes the Kapiti Coast and Wairarapa.

A restriction applies to all events in the Wellington area and groups at these must be must be less than 100 people.

The advice is, if you have been in Wellington over the weekend of 19 and 20 June you must “take Level 2 with you”, which means attending events with more than 100 people elsewhere is also not advised. RTF will be complying with that advice and team members who were intending to be at the RTA Twizel seminar this weekend, will no longer be doing so. We will record our contributions digitally.

Wellingtonians should observe social distancing and wear a mask on public transport.
